If you’ve ever watched 90 day fiancé on Discovery TV, you’ll more than likely remember Stephanie Matto. However, if you’ve never seen the show let me sum it up for you; it’s basically a show based around a bunch of Americans searching for love in a foreign country. In Stephanie’s case, she flew over to Australia to pursue a lesbian relationship with a girl named Erica. It didn’t work out, mainly owing to the fact that Stephanie was a bit of a head case but it all worked out ok for her in the end because Stephanie is now raking it in – by selling jarred farts! Stephanie has banked more than $200K from selling her farts in Mason jars and now she is looking at turning her hand towards selling them as NFTs. Turns out Stephanie only began looking into NFTs after her recent hospitalisation, which occurred because of her non-stop farting. After doctors advised her that her excessive wind-breaking was taking a toll on her body, Stephanie decided to pivot to selling her farts as non-fungible tokens as opposed to abandoning the whole farting business entirely. I mean she knows where her bread is buttered.

Stephanie is now hoping to carve out a space in the NFT world with her “unique” fart art. According to a journalist from Insider, Stephanie was quoted as saying “There’s space for everybody.” I mean yeah, I guess that’s true. When asked how she initially got into the whole fart business, she explained that while she was running an 18+ subscription site similar to OnlyFans, she received a lot of requests for her farts. She said:

“I always thought that it was a complete joke, But last year I decided to sell my farts as an experiment to see if anybody would actually purchase them.”

Stephanie sold her first batch of 97 farts within hours, for $500 a pop. The second batch sold out too, this time raking in $1,000 a pop. If you’re wondering why the hell anyone would blow a thousand bucks on a jarred fart, here’s  what Stephanie’s best customer, John, had to say:

“I have a lot of fetishes and one of them is that I like the smell of a woman I like all of the smells.”

Erm, okay! Currently Stephanie is working closely with a digital NFT artist to come up with a collection of unique artwork, based on her bottled farts. Who wants one…?!?

In a shocking twist that has come to light since this story was written, Stephanie has been forced to retire from selling her farts due to a health scare as a result of the diet she was on to try and increase her fart production!  Read the full story here.
