Those pesky Tories are at it again. This time a member of parliament has been accused of watching porn on his phone during a debate in The House of Commons. All I’m saying is it better have been Babestation!

An investigation has been launched by the government chief whip, Chris Heaton-Harris, after a female Tory MP filed a report that stated she had witnessed a male MP, a Conservative frontbencher no less, watching porn on his phone in the Commons chamber.

A group of around 12 to 14 female MPs shared their experiences of sexist behaviour among Tory male MPs, telling Heaton-Harris that something needs to be done about it. The women called for action to be taken against three cabinet ministers who are reportedly under investigation for previous inappropriate sexual behaviour. The female MP who witnessed the incident decided not to name the male MP for fear of backlash but the report states he was seen watching XXX videos in a meeting as well as in the chamber. Here’s what the spokesperson for the whip had to say on the matter:
“The chief whip is looking into this matter. This behaviour is wholly unacceptable and action will be taken.”
I mean they say it’s unacceptable, but this isn’t the first time allegations have been made by female MP’s about the sexual harassment from male MP’s. Seems like one big boys club to me. This all comes following the news about misogynistic behaviour towards the Labour deputy leader, Angela Rayner. If you didn’t read that story, the Mail on Sunday published a ridiculous story claiming Rayner pulled a Sharon Stone by uncrossing her legs in a supposed bid to distract Boris Johnson. If you don’t get that reference, go check out the movie ‘Basic Instinct’. Sharon Stone uncrosses her legs in front of a detective with her full muff on display. Now no one is accusing Rayner of going knickerless to tempt Bojo, but you can see how utter ludicrous the comparison is. Let’s concentrate on the issue at hand shall we – that action needs to be taken against the misogynistic behaviour and sexual harassment against women in parliament. And how about we save our porn consumption for our free time.
