Much of what we know about British babeshows doesn’t come from official archives. Instead, it survives through a small number of fan blogs from the early 2010s, when viewers started documenting late-night channels online. These blogs captured screenshots, presenter debuts, and memorable broadcasts from the era, creating an informal record of a type of television rarely preserved anywhere else. One such post, written in 2013 and preserved via the Internet Archive, describes the night model Georgie Darby first appeared on Babestation’s night shows.
At the time it was just another moment during a late-night broadcast. Looking back, it marked the beginning of a memorable run on the babeshows for the big boobed model.
Georgie Darby’s First Babestation Night Appearance
Georgie Darby first joined Babestation in autumn 2009, initially appearing on the channel’s daytime shows.
Before arriving on the babeshows, she had already built a profile as a glamour model under the name Georgina D, with Page 3 and Playboy recognition helping establish her public image. Her first appearance on Babestation’s night shows came during the early hours of 15th December 2009, when she briefly appeared on Babestation Xtra’s Channel 96 broadcast, just after 1am.
Georgie appeared alongside presenter Alex Adams, introducing herself to viewers at the beginning of the show. At that stage she made it clear she wouldn’t yet be taking part in the full topless side of the night shows, explaining that this would happen in the new year.
An Early Version of Georgie
Looking back at that early appearance, one detail stands out immediately: Georgie seemed noticeably different from the personality viewers later came to know. Her presenting style was more reserved, and her accent sounded considerably more polished than the playful Essex tone she would later become known for on the channel.
Even so, flashes of her personality were already there. During that first introduction she launched into an unusual story about filling someone’s kettle with bacon and hiding raw sausages around their house, the kind of wonderfully strange anecdote that felt perfectly suited to late-night babeshow television.
Joining the Night Shows
Although Georgie appeared briefly during the December broadcast, she didn’t immediately become a regular on the night shows. Her full tits out debut in the late-night format came a few weeks later, during the night of 7th/8th January 2010, when she began taking calls and getting in on the after-hours action.
Signs suggested the move had already been planned for some time. In the weeks before Christmas 2009, Georgie had already been added to the rolling promotional loops used on the Babestation night shows, indicating the channel expected her to become a regular presence.
Becoming a Babestation Favourite
Over the next few years, Georgie Darby became one of the most recognisable personalities on the babeshows. She briefly left Babestation in 2012 to appear on Elite TV, but returned just a month later and continued appearing on the channel before later moving on to other projects, including work with Playboy TV and RLC.
A Small Moment in Babeshow History
Looking back, Georgie’s first appearance on Babestation feels like a small but interesting moment in the history of the babeshows. At the time it was simply a brief introduction during a late-night broadcast. But it marked the beginning of a run that would make her one of the most memorable presenters of that era. And thanks to those old babeshow blogs – quietly preserved in internet archives, moments like that first appearance haven’t been completely lost.
