This babestation daytime babeshows blog comes from an original post by @babe_tv and was originally posted on Tumbler in November 2013. Over the past few years, things have changed a lot on the Babestation Daytime shows but never as much as back around the year 2010 when the daytime graphics were taken from Babestation’s Freeview show on Babestation 99 (which took its feed from the Sky show Babestation 2). Babestation channel 99 came on Freeview at 10pm so it obviously wasn’t a dayshow, however it did broadcast with dayshow graphics on screen from it’s preceding transmissions.
At this time in early 2010, Kandi Kay had only recently returned after a spell away from the babe channels. She’d previously been introduced to the Freeview babeshows as one of the original Partyland girls, and appeared on that programme between March and July 2009, simply using the name Candy. Prior to the inauguration of Partyland, Candy had been working on the Sky babe channels as a Babecast/Sexstation girl. (In more recent years Kandi Kay could be seen on Red Light Central and Studio 66 at various times.)
She returned to Babestation’s Freeview shows in Dec 2009 however due to there being another Candy in the mix at that time, (Top UK pornstar, Candy Sexton) Kandi re-spelled her name with a K and would often refer to herself as ‘Kandi with a K’ to differentiate herself. Eventually the Kay became her stage surname as well as her model name and stuck ever since.
The Babestation Daytime graphics at this time definitely drew more attention to the power of the scene. It can be easy to become desensitized to the live babeshows but if you take a look from a different view point you can see what a daring, dynamite blast of societal irreverence they have been. The daytime graphics demonstrate this.
