DC stopped Batman from going down on Catwoman in animated series\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

I never thought Batman\u2019s sex life would even be a topic of discussion but yet here we are. It all came about when a racy scene was recently deleted from season 3 of the Harley Quinn animated series. The scene in question depicted Batman going down on Catwoman and it\u2019s swift deletion by DC has led fans to question whether superheroes are selfish lovers. The news was revealed by the co-creator and executive producer Justin Halpern of the \u2018Harley Quinn\u2019 series, Justin Halpern who said that DC aggressively blocked the scene. Here\u2019s Justin Halpern had to say about the situation:<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s incredibly gratifying and free to be using characters that are considered villains because you just have so much more leeway.\u00a0 A perfect example of that is in this third season of \u2018Harley\u2019 when we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman.\u00a0 And DC was like, \u2018You can\u2019t do that. You absolutely cannot do that.\u00a0 \u2019They\u2019re like, \u2018Heroes don\u2019t do that.\u2019\u00a0 \u00a0 So, we said, \u2018Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?\u2019\u00a0 They were like, \u2018No, it\u2019s that we sell consumer toys for heroes.\u00a0 It\u2019s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.”<\/p>\n

Sounds a bit of a cop out excuse to me. The cartoon is clearly aimed at an adult audience so I don\u2019t know why they brought the merch into it. Then again, I guess DC has the final say and if they don\u2019t want Batman getting a face full of minge then that\u2019s their prerogative. However, if you thought it was all over, think again, because Zack Snyder then waded in and if anyone knows the inner workings of Batman it\u2019s him. Snyder reckons that Batman is actually pretty generous in the bedroom and has absolutely no qualms in ripping off Catwoman\u2019s knickers and going in for a munch.<\/p>\n
