I\u2019m going back in time five years for this post, as I\u2019ve done before, but on this occasion I\u2019ve widened the net a little to cover the mid to late autumn of \u201909, rather than just one show.<\/p>\n<p>I was always going to include the show of the moment. I\u2019m referring, of course to the then\u00a0brand new Babestation Xtra. And what a freaky little hive of offbeat shenanigans it was. In the top pic above, from October 2009, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.babestation.tv\/girls\/michelle-moist\">Michelle Moist<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.babestation.tv\/girls\/lori-buckby\">\u00a0Lori Buckby<\/a>\u00a0are in the hotseat, as the insets keep tabs on the three call channels.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.babestation.tv\/girls\/louise-porter\">Louise Porter<\/a>\u00a0is on Babestation 1,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.babestation.tv\/girls\/stevie-louise-ritchie\">Stevie Ritchie<\/a>\u00a0is on Babestation 2, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.babestation.tv\/girls\/charlie-c\">Charlie C<\/a> is with Yvette Merriman on Partyland.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the pics show what happens when you hand the baton to anyone who wants to text in. Yep, the show instantly turns into a leg, foot and tickling fetish bonanza. The two pics in the middle show\u00a0Geri\u00a0responding to texts with a leg and feet show, closely supported by\u00a0Reede Fox, in mid November. And the bottom two pics show sweet little innocent\u00a0Paigey-waigey Tyler. One minute she\u2019s opening the Freeview show at 1am on 2nd November 2009. And one wacko text later she\u2019s got her ankles tied together and some bloke from behind the scenes tickling the daylights out of her feet. Yvette Merriman\u00a0was in her final weeks on the channels when this autumn 2009 section was shot on the stairways of \u2018Babestation Towers\u2019. It\u2019s interesting in that it was shot in the disused 4:3 aspect ratio, which had been replaced with widescreen 16:9 in late spring. It seems BS had a roaming camera which was set in that format, and was also used for one or two shower sequences. Yvette\u2019s image, with short hair and a more alternative look than the norm on Babestation, lent itself well to the wide range of roleplays she covered, and helped her stand out visually as well as in terms of her edgy personality. The channel was Babestation 1, which by this time was transmitting on Freeview 94.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3770\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3770\" style=\"width: 212px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3770 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/th_290087773_AmberBS0103_123_471lo-e1753263286484.jpg\" alt=\"Babestation Xtra\" width=\"212\" height=\"182\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3770\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Amber James 2009<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Even though\u00a0the Party People night show had finished in the summer, the early morning Freeview show continued to use the brand. Here\u2019s Amber James, Amber had also worked on the Party People night show, but in general she was rarely seen on Freeview in 2009. This was one of just two appearances I\u2019ve got logged for the whole autumn. Amber was, however, on Freeview much more frequently in 2010.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3771 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/BS_Extra_Party.flv-740x1024.jpg\" alt=\"BS Xtra \" width=\"696\" height=\"963\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/BS_Extra_Party.flv-740x1024.jpg 740w, https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/BS_Extra_Party.flv-217x300.jpg 217w, https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/BS_Extra_Party.flv-768x1063.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/BS_Extra_Party.flv-696x963.jpg 696w, https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/BS_Extra_Party.flv.jpg 1026w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All the Babestation intro sequences (excluding Partyland) were updated on 23rd November, and interestingly, Babestation 2\u2019s vid featured exactly the same girls as Babestation 1\u2019s, except for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.babestation.tv\/girls\/karina-currie\">Karina<\/a> and Louise. BS Xtra\u2019s sequence had only comprised vector graphics up until this point, but it was replaced with a \u201cWelcome to Babestation Xtra!\u201d video, the start of which (captured above) was shot in front of a bus, outside the BS studio, almost certainly on Bonfire Night, 5th November 2009. That was the night Babestation held a special BS Xtra launch party, not far from the old studio in the West End. It should be noted, however, that the actual show began in late October, over a week before the launch party.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s hard to identify all the <a href=\"https:\/\/babestationcams.com\/babestation-girls\">babestation girls<\/a> in the bus clip because the video effect degrades the quality and some faces are partly or fully obscured throughout the footage, but it looks like Amber James, Cleo O\u2019Booty, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.babestation.tv\/girls\/jada\">Jada<\/a>, Michelle Moist, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.babestation.tv\/girls\/rosie-lee\">Rosie Lee<\/a>, Charlie O\u2019Neil, Yvette, Lori and Camilla are all there. Paige Tyler may be one of the girls who\u2019s obscured. The group wouldn\u2019t have included Geri, Caty Cole, Ella Jolie, Daryl Morgan, Reede Fox, Megan Moore or Karina Currie, because they were all working on the shows that night. Stevie was on holiday abroad, so she couldn\u2019t have attended the party, and I don\u2019t think Dani O\u2019Neal was very well, so she may not have gone either.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3772\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3772\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3772 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/3400992-t2-enh-e1753263313513-300x94.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"94\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/3400992-t2-enh-e1753263313513-300x94.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog-origin.babestationcams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/3400992-t2-enh-e1753263313513.jpg 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3772\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dani O&#8217;Neal<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>You really do know you\u2019re back in the golden age of Babestation when the first face you see after the opening sequence is that of Miss Dani O\u2019Neal. Dani was the longest serving <a href=\"https:\/\/babestationcams.com\/babestation-babes\">Babestation babe<\/a> at this time, having worked for the channel almost since it started. She was very intensively employed across the BS channels through autumn \u201809, even doing some work on Babestation Daytime. And notably she was runner up in the\u00a0<em>Queen of Babestation<\/em>\u00a0viewer text poll at the end of that autumn. That was a remarkable feat given that she hadn\u2019t been on screen at any point during the vote. All of the other babes who placed prominently in the poll had been on the mics for long periods, canvassing for votes over the course of the contest. But a Dani O\u2019Neal fan was a Dani O\u2019Neal fan. They knew who their favourite was, and they\u2019d vote for Dani. No one else.<\/p>\n<p>Autumn 2009 saw babes walking onto set without underwear for the first time on a permanent Freeview channel, and from the amount of nakedness which ensued on Babestation Xtra it was fairly evident that viewers couldn\u2019t get enough of it. In this section, at the height of the excitement on 25th November 2009, Nurse Camilla was joined by Charlie C for a nudie romp with a syringe. Camilla introduced the section with\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>\u201cHmmm\u2026 I forgot to wear my knickers to work\u2026 I think someone stole them\u2026 So [giggles], I think that you guys out there should come and help me\u2026 I can\u2019t believe I\u2019ve lost them\u2026 again [laughs]\u2026 So, why don\u2019t you come through, and bend me over, and come and tell me what a\u2026 cheeky, little nurse I am\u2026\u201d<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And finally, a look at\u00a0Partyland, the fourth of Babestation\u2019s main night shows. In the Partyland mechanic\u2019s office is Stevie-Louise Ritchie, talking to a \u2018girl caller\u2019. The use of &#8216;girl callers\u2019 was scaled up just on the cusp of summer and autumn 2009, and accompanying &#8216;black box\u2019 text insets were implemented around the same time.
